The sorty of four dull mobsters, Roy Arnie, Odd, Gaz and Flea uprooted from their mean city streets to work with ringmaster Stromowski in a third-rate Russian traveling circus. The star attraction is Jimmy, an elephant kept happy on a cocktail of drugs. Roy Arnie has a dream of one day running his own circus and the key to his dream is Jimmy. But on the opening night, a bungled attempt to give Jimmy his drugs causes widespread panic. Jimmy escapes and so begins a mad cap cross-country road-trip to find Jimmy before he goes cold turkey…

In the near future, a revolutionary new psychotherapy treatment called dream therapy has been invented. A device called the ‘DC Mini’ allows the user to view people’s dreams and to record them in order to study their psyches from the inside.

11-year-old Coraline Jones is fearlessly courageous, and perhaps too adenturous for her own good. Her parents, who just moved in a strange house with her, are distracted by work, so she passes the time by exploring her new surroundings. Venturing through a hidden door into an eerie passageway, she emerges in an alternate verison of her own reality. At first glance, this strange new world seems even better than the real thing; there her parents aren’t distracted by work and Xcoraline is always the center of attention. There’s even a mysterious Cat that’s fascinated by her every move.

Dans le futur, un nouveau traitement psychothérapeutique nommé PT a été inventé. Grâce à une machine, le DC Mini, il est possible de rentrer dans les rêves des patients, et de les enregistrer afin de sonder les tréfonds de la pensée et de l'inconscient.

Coraline Jones est une fillette intrépide et douée d'une curiosité sans limites. Ses parents, qui ont tout juste emménagé avec elle dans une étrange maison, n'ont guère de temps à lui consacrer. Pour tromper son ennui, Coraline décide donc de jouer les exploratrices. Ouvrant une porte condamnée, elle pénètre dans un appartement identique au sien... mais où tout est différent. Dans cet Autre Monde, chaque chose lui paraît plus belle, plus colorée et plus attrayante.

De retour d’Afrique, où leur dernière aventure les avait menés, Alex et ses fidèles amis Marty, Gloria et Melman aspirent désormais à rentrer chez eux, à New York, et à retrouver le cadre familier du zoo de Central Park. Autant dire qu’ils sont prêts à tout pour y parvenir ! Alors que King Julian, Maurice et les Pingouins se joignent à eux, leur nouvelle expédition rocambolesque les conduit en Europe où ils trouvent la couverture idéale : un cirque ambulant dont ils deviennent les héros !
